History Repeating and we’re blindly following

There’s a saying those who forget or don’t learn from history are likely
to repeat it, and two words come to my mind: George Bush! He believes
he has the God given right to impose regime change when and where he
wants, but has learned nothing of the CIA backed cue that brought the
Shah to power in Iran which came back to haunt the US of A in 1979 with
the hostage crisis after the revolution drove out the Shah and brought
in the Ayatollah. He didn’t learn from the American tragedy that Vietnam
American troops have not been seen as liberators in Iraq and Bush’s six
month war in Iraq is in it’s sixth year with no end in sight. Killing more
Americans than 9/11 itself which Saddam had nothing to do with.
Worse are those Americans who blindly believe and back their president
with no hard evidence of his claims. On 9/11/2001 the government
blaimed Osoma Bin Laden with no hard evidence not unlike Hitler blaming
the Communist for the Reichstag’s fire in 1933 in both cases people
didn’t question authority and both gave government an excuse to
suspend civil liberties in the name of protecting them.
Bush dubbed congress and a lot of the public into an unjust  on Iraq
by lying about weapons of mass destruction which have yet to be
found and connections to 9/11 which the president later admitted
was not the case.
Similarly, Hitler dubbed Germany into World War 2 when his special
forces went on a covert operation attacking a radio station in near
their border with Poland wearing polish uniforms stolen from
an earlier covert operation and gave himself an excuse to invade
Poland.
US troops are likely to be in Iraq long after this year’s presidential
election.  Meanwhile the president does nothing military about
North Korea that openly admit having a nuclear weapons program
and boast having missiles that can reach the west coast of the USA
and if they do that means they can also reach Canada’s westcoast.
Seems both Canada and the USA have a legitimate reason to bomb
North Korea’s Nuclear reactor(s) although Canadian F18s would likely
need to refuel in flight were as one B2 stealth could make the trip
on it’s own.
Who ever wins the presidency should think twice about taking an
action against Iran without the backing of the UN in other words
learn from the error of invading Iraq. Appearantly only arms dealers
and private armies are benefitting from this prolonged war.
And no one is benefitting from the indefinite war on terror.
The war on terror is just a guise method of stripping people of
their rights to not be arrested and held without habeas corpus
or even their lawyers seeing what if any evidence the state has
against them.
